A fire in a house on Hyacinth Road in Levittown required the assistance of three fire departments on Tuesday.
The Levittown Fire Department received multiple calls for the fire at 4:37 p.m.. Arriving units were met with heavy fire coming from the home and through the roof. Multiple hose lines were stretched as firefighters attacked the fire.
The Hicksville and East Meadow Fire departments were called to the scene to assist in the operation. No injuries were reported.
Neighbors said that power had been restored to their neighborhood around noon today after outages due to Hurricane Irene.
