Four Accused of Selling Alcohol to Minors

Police conducted an undercover operation Wednesday and said they cited four individuals.

Nassau County Police's “Project 21” undercover operation in Hicksville and Levittown resulted in four people being cited for selling alcohol to a minor.

According to police, an undercover agent entered four locations and purchased alcohol without being properly identified.

Police said the follow individuals were cited for selling alcohol to a minor:

- Defendant Sufia Begum, 57, of Hicksville, sold alcohol to a minor while working at Super Village Green, 56 East Village Green, Levittown.

- Defendant Raymond Vandermark, 50 of Levittown, sold alcohol to a minor from Division Avenue Dairy Barn, 100 Division Avenue, Levittown.

- Defendant Kwoltz Leung, 55 of Brooklyn sold alcohol to a minor while working at Newbridge Beer and Soda, 8-10 West Village Green, Hicksville.

- Defendant Christina Tetenes, 18 of Levittown, sold alcohol to a minor while working at Mobil Gas Station, 363 Newbridge Road, Levittown.

All the defendants are charged with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverage and were issued appearance tickets to appear on Monday, May 20, 2013 in First District Court, Hempstead.
