When officers stopped Murray they found that he was under the influence of alcohol. When he was placed into custody the stun gun was found in his back pocket, police said.

Authorities said that when officers attempted to place Murray in the police vehicle, he used his body and legs to push away from the car and it required several officers to place him in it.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Murray was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, driving while intoxicated, obstructing governmental administration, moving from lanes unsafely and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
