A Bethpage man was fatally struck by a Jeep early Friday morning.
According to Nassau Police, Hao Duc Bui, 31, was walking on Central Avenue near Sheridan Avenue when he was struck by a 2006 Jeep traveling westbound on Central Avenue.
The 24-year -old male motorist stopped at the scene and called police. The victim was pronounced dead by an ambulance technician.
The vehicle was impounded for brake and safety inspection and an investigation is ongoing.
