Police: Levittown Woman Arrested for Hicksville Burglary

The woman allegedly stole $10,000 in cash and jewelry from the victim, police said.

Nassau County Police have arrested a Levittown woman for allegedly stealing $10,000 in cash and assorted jewelry from a Hicksville residence. 

Police said that Nicole Hamm, 23, was employed as a telemarketer at a residence on Picture Lane when she entered the bedroom and removed the cash and jewelry from a dresser drawer. The incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m., police said. 

Detectives recovered several pieces of jewelry, belonging to the victim, at S & D Gold Buyers, located at 2608 Hempstead Tpke. in Levittown.

On Thursday, police arrested Hamm at her residence without incident. She is being charged with second degree burglary and third degree grand larceny and will be arraigned on Friday, Nov. 22 in First District Court, Hempstead.
