Report: Suspicious Package Found Outside Kohl's a False Alarm
Police closed off the Kohl's parking lot Sunday night to investigate.
A report of a suspicious package found in the parking lot of Kohl's in Levittown Sunday night has been ruled a false alarm by police, Newsday reported.
Nassau County Police were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. and closed off the lot to investigate. After a three-hour investigation, it was determined that the package did not contain any dangerous material and the officers left the scene, according to Newsday.
Kohl's is located at 3601 Hempstead Tpke. in the Nassau Mall.
