Silver Alert Issued for Hicksville Man

Missing 54-year-old suffers from schizophrenia, police report.

Nassau County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 54-year-old Hicksville man who suffers from schizophrenia.

Stephen Urban was reported missing from a group home he lives in on Roosevelt Avenue in Hicksville by the medical staff there, police said. Urban's condition requires medication.

Police said Urban's possible destination is Manhattan. 

Urban is 54, and described as 5'-11," 250 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.

The Silver Alert Program disseminates immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or others with Alzheimer’s, dementia or other cognitive disorders go missing.
