Nassau County police have found a Levittown man that they issued a Silver Alert for Sunday afternoon.
Police sent out a message Monday afternoon stating that Romano was located. They did not provide further details.
The original silver alert said that Robert Romano was last seen on March 18 traveling in the Levittown area. According to police, Romano is a 45-year-old white male who is approximately 5 feet 7 inches in height and weighs 180 pounds. He has thinning brown hair and green eyes. He drives a white 2005 Hyundai Accent with license plate number DJN-9842. Police added that he has a bandage on his left hand.
The Silver Alert Program is a county-wide law enforcement program which helps locate missing persons with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders.
