Mangano Honors Levittown Medical Reserve Corp Member

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano recently presented a citation to Medical Corp. Reservist Marissa Caradonna of Levittown.

Caradonna was recognized for her efforts in the Medical Reserve Corps as she played a key role in supporting the Nassau County Department of Health during Superstorm Sandy, Mangano said in a release.

“We gather tonight to honor the Medical Reserve Corps members who, in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, went above and beyond the call of duty in order to provide medical care to our Nassau County residents," Mangano said.

"We owe a debt of gratitude to these professional volunteers who often left their own devastated homes to serve county residents,” he said.
