Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 3601 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown (LI Center for Independent Living) from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Suite 500

A Special Learning Day for Children with Developmental Disabilities  – and for their Parents.

*This Workshop is entirely in Spanish!

For the Parents: We will discuss community services available for your child with a disability.

- How to communicate with the School System and learn about the special education process and services available for eligible children.

- The importance of optimum nutrition for the behavior and emotional well-being of your child with a disability.

- How the food you give your children could affect their concentration, energy, mental state and general health!

For the Children:

Manual activities, games, gifts and a Special Guest:

The Healthy Hound Dog from UnitedHealthCare!

Free Lunch for all participants!

Just an update to date we have raised $750 dollars once we reach the first $1000 Shelly will haveRead More her first surgery to correct her right leg then 8 - 12 weeks later hopefully the funds will be available to correct her left leg
