Island Trees Honor Students Spread Holiday Cheer at NUMC

The Island Trees High School Tri-M Music Honor Society recently visited Nassau University Medical Center to distribute gifts to children and spread some holiday cheer. 

The students were led by the honor society executive board and "Saxletes" ensemble, along with advisor Mr. Greg Warnokowski. 

 A highlight of the visit was a performance by the Island Trees HS Saxletes, a student saxophone ensemble that performed holiday music.  

"It was a special visit enjoyed by the students, the patients, and the staff at NUMC," said Susan Oliveto, Island Trees HS Music Department Chairperson.
