The Island Trees Middle School softball team recently completed an amazing spring season, finishing up with a perfect 10-0 record.
The team, which was made up of 7th and 8th grade girls, played in a league structured for 8th grade teams only.
"The Bulldogs played against the odds and proved that commitment, hard work and a desire to win were no match for their opponents," said a statement from the Island Trees School District.
The girls outscored their competition 61-15 through the 10 game season.
