Island Trees Teacher Recognized as Nobel Educator of Distinction

Island Trees High School advanced placement biology teacher, Mrs. Gribbin, has been recognized by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) as a Nobel Educator of Distinction, the school announced in a release. 

Gribbin was nominated by one of her former A.P. Biology students, Crysta Morse, and chosen by the NSHSS committee. She has been invited to attend the NSHSS special private Educator of Distinction recognition lunch at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. on Aug. 17.

The mission of the National Society of High School Scholars is to recognize academic excellence and to encourage students and teachers to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for betterment of themselves and the world.  NSHSS hopes to offer opportunities to help build academic success and have a positive impact in the global community.
