Island Trees Teacher to Present at Music Conference

The teacher will also serve on the composition committee for NYSSMA.

Island Trees music teacher Peter Hansen has been selected to lecture at the 2012 New York State School Music Association Statewide Conference. 

Hansen will present "Teaching Music With Help From The Beatles" at the conference for music educators.  In addition, he has been selected once again to serve on NYSSMA's Composition Committee to evaluate, and critique student music compositions. 

Hansen continues to deliver music instruction in General Music, Music Theory and Composition to students in the Island Trees District.
