Lee Road Students Learn the Importance of Bus Safety

NY law requires schools to conduct bus safety drills each year.

Students at Lee Road Elementary School in the Levittown School District recently participated in bus safety drills during the first week of school.

Levittown district bus drivers spoke to the classes about emergency features on the bus and how to safely evacuate in the event of an emergency.

New York State Education Law requires that public schools conduct three bus safety drills each year, the first drill being held within the first week of the school year.
