The Levittown School District has announced on its website that all after-school activities have been cancelled due to inclement weather. However, the district said the Levittown After-School Program (LAP) will still be held.
Meanwhile, the Island Trees School District has announced that schools will remain open for activities tonight.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the area, with snow accumulation of three to five inches and higher amounts possible locally.
The snow will create icy and hazardous travel conditions throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
