Levittown District Notebook: Terrific Kids at East Broadway, Abbey Lane's "Season of Miracles"

Abbey Lane Elementary

• The Pushcart Players, a New Jersey-based theatre company, recently performed a multi-holiday show called "A Season of Miracles."
• Santa Claus also paid a visit to Abbey Lane on the last day of school before winter recess.

East Broadway Elementary

• East Broadway recently honored its "terrific kids" for the months of November and December.
• Patch also ran a recent profile of an East Broadway employee simply known as "Ms. Millie."

Gardiners Avenue Elementary

• Gardiners students collected items and displayed them around a giving tree in their school. The student council bundled those items and delivered them to those in need.
• The spirit of giving was the theme of many programs at Gardiners during the holiday season.

Lee Road Elementary

• Mrs. Welsch's third grade class was given $250 and told to go on a holiday shopping spree in a decision-making and budget management exercise.

Northside Elementary

• Several Northside music students were selected to participate in the All-County festival.
• For the 18th straight year, Northside students, parents and faculty collaborated on a "Toys for Children" toy drive.
