Mr. Regan's total number of votes, (and votes per dollar) was embarrassing. Looking back at the last 3 elections his total would not have earned him a seat in any of those elections. Last 2 years it would have been a distant third. The only time it would have gotten him on the board was way back when about 10 people ran for the board with Pappas Parrazo and the first Ward. A good judge of your bang for the buck is how many people voted yes for the budget and how many votes a candidate gets. Mr. Pappas either out scored the budget total or came real close both times. Even the new Ward and Parazzo came real close last year to the total budget without any signs or phone calls. Ms. Maranghi and Mr. Moran did the same when they ran, (but they had union support) I hope and pray that this little parlor trick pulled here is just an ego trip gone wild and the whole community gets over it. I am willing to forgive and forget. I hope it was not done for political reasons either. The board should not be democrat or republican. Lets move on and re-unite this town like never before!
For a certain board member, it is all political. This is fast becoming a platform for the ToH to get the supervisor and councilman votes. How else would you explain that with the exception of sen. shumer at the commencement ceremonies who just shows up, every invited politician is a republican? Using school events and resources for politics is wrong. School Boards are non political by law. One more thing, it its not your own money if a union big wig donates it to you. PS. You are normally a BOE basher with little exception. Why the change of heart? You with for the town??
Then you go and say that's the republican way they run the town and Kate is a master---- seems like you are the quitter and throwing up your hands now. Turnabout is fair play I guess. You have a bad habit of stirring poop and then backing off and saying that you didn't. I think you did both times. And for the record, it was not fair what Mr.Reagan did to anyone. Not to Mr. Powers, not to the parents who got that email about keeping the soccer fields if he is elected and most of all for not even saying please support the budget in the email that should not have been legally sent anyway. I guess if you break one rule, why not break a few more!
Regarding mr regan if he did this it should be public knowledge not after the fact accusations. I still ask why would he do any of this if running unopposed? If anyone can tell me what I stirred up here I am all ears. I guess wanting to know what really happened not written in the article is wrong. I didn't see the words put together former boe member but Democrat did write " for a certain board member it is all political. This is fast becoming a platform for the toh to get th supervisor and councilman votes" was I wrong to ask which one? Are these not valid questions?
