Levittown MacArthur High School is proud to announce that Jacklyn Sullivan is one of seven Long Island seniors out of 250 students nationwide who has been named a Finalist by the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. As a finalist, Jacklyn will advance in the competition for a four-year achievement-based scholarship to be issued this spring.
Earlier this year, Sullivan was selected as one of 2,200 National Semifinalists among 84,000 nationwide entries for her leadership, academic achievements, and potential.
Last month, she traveled to Atlanta to be interviewed by the selection committee, who will decide whether she will be one of fifty Finalists to receive a $20,000 scholarship or one of 200 Finalists to receive a $10,000 scholarship.
The District wishes Jacklyn the best of luck in this competition.
