In celebration of the holiday season, kindergarten students in Laura D’Amuro’s and Linda Nyquist’s classes at Northside Elementary School in the Levittown School District presented a dramatization of the first Thanksgiving for parents, administrators and staff.
After a rehearsal with teacher Sari Meehan and teaching assistant Debra Higgins, the students, dressed as Pilgrims and Native Americans, sang songs and delivered an entertaining rendering of this momentous historical feast.
