Vote for Levittown Schools in Target Fundraiser

Your school can receive up to $10,000 in gift cards through Target's back to school promotion.

Raising money for schools is an ongoing chore, but a national chain retailer is giving schools an opportunity to raise thousands with a few mouse clicks.

Target stores is running a Give With Target promotion through Sept. 8 that gives eligible schools the chance to raise $10,000 by clicking a button.

Eligible schools will receive a $25 Target GiftCard for every 25 online votes it receives during the promotion period; up to a maximum of $10,000.

Here's how to play: Choose a K-12 school from Target's Facebook Page and click a button to vote for it weekly through Sept. 8 or when $2.5 million in Target GiftCards have been awarded, whichever occurs first.

Here's how Levittown schools have fared so far in the contest:

Northside Elementary - 21 votes (just 4 votes away from gift card)

Abbey Lane Elementary – 15 votes

Island Trees HS – 9 votes

MacArthur HS – 8 votes

Wisdom Lane – 7 votes

Division Ave. High School – 6 Votes

Gardiners Ave. Elementary – 6 Votes

Summit Lane Elementary – 4 votes

Maria Montessori School – 2 votes

BOCES early childhood center - 1 vote

Just an update to date we have raised $750 dollars once we reach the first $1000 Shelly will haveRead More her first surgery to correct her right leg then 8 - 12 weeks later hopefully the funds will be available to correct her left leg
