By Liz Sobel

During the annual Nassau County Girls Soccer Coaches Association awards dinner, five outstanding student-athletes from Division Avenue High School were awarded for their accomplishments on and off the field.

Ariana Weingrad was designated as an All-Nassau County player, and Erica Bleimeyer was awarded All-Class. Jackie McCreary and Miranda Pedroza received All-Conference designations, and Michelle Pedreros was named Senior Scholar-Athlete, having acquired a 97 percent GPA.

In addition, the Lady Dragons soccer team was selected by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association as a Scholar-Athlete Team, with a collective GPA above 90 percent.
