Division HS Students Earn Top Honors in Football

The Levittown School District recently announced that Division High School student Fred Gray has received all-county honors for varsity football, while Mike Ambrosio earned all-conference honors.

Gray had a fantastic season on both sides of the football. On offense, Gray ran for 1183 yards on 202 carries with a total of 13 touchdowns. He also had 14 receptions for 209 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, Gray had 47 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries.

Ambrosio earned all-conference honors as the heart of the offensive line at the center position. Every opposing coach sang his praises and exclaimed that he was an outstanding lineman.

As juniors, both Fred and Mike, were named captains for their outstanding leadership and work ethic. 

Coach Ray Weidlein is looking forward to a bright future as both of these outstanding players will return as seniors next year. Congratulations to these two young men for their outstanding achievement.
