MacArthur guard Jena Cozza was named an All-State player by the New York State Sportswriters Association's Wednesday.
Cozza was named to the association's seventh All-State team. She helped lead MacArthur to an 11-2 regular-season record and played a key role in the Lady Generals' win over Herricks.
The Lady Generals lost to Massapequa in the Class AA semi-finals.
Cozza was also the goalie on the Lady Generals' state champion soccer team last fall.
