Special Homecoming Planned at Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity High School has announced its plans for Saturday's homecoming celebration, which includes the dedication of its new track.

The extended halftime will include performances by the kickline team and cheerleaders, a presentation of the seniors on the football team and the naming of the “Titan Spirit” winners.

More than 250 families donated the $250,000 to re-surface the track and a sign will be unveiled that will recognize all who supported the “On the Right Track” campaign. The school’s chaplain, The Rev. Joe Fitzgerald will also be on hand to give the track a dedication blessing.

“It is an exciting time at Holy Trinity," said Joseph Geraci, director of institutional advancement. "The new track is just the beginning of forthcoming facility enhancements as we look towards our 50th anniversary in 2016 and beyond.”

Holy Trinity High School is a private, co-educational Catholic high school founded in 1966 drawing students from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties.  It has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Exemplary Schools Program and is nationally known for its outstanding Academics, Athletics and Performing Arts programs.
