COUNCIL’S PROGRAM TO FOCUS ON THE BASICS OF FACEBOOK
Are you interested in getting in tune with the world of social media? Are you reluctant to participate for fear others are more advanced than you? Join neighbors on Monday, October 28 at 7:30 PM at the Levittown Public Library, when Donna Rivera-Downey, Chief Marketing and Communication Officers of Girl Scouts of Nassau County and Board Member of Social Media Association explains the basics of the most exciting means of communication humankind has experienced since the advent of the printing press.
It's not too late to get started with Facebook and the amazing world of social media. Learn how to create your own FB page. Catch up with old friends, keep in touch with family, run a successful fundraiser, promote your organization or business. All this is possible with social media. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out on a new world of opportunity.
We promise a hands-on, basic approach to getting started. You may bring your own laptop or use the library's computers.
