Veterans Day in November brings attention to the many veterans who have served this country making it a good time to discuss entitlements and benefits available to those men and women.

On Monday, Nov. 26 at Levittown Memorial Education Center, the Levittown Community Council will present a program on veterans’ benefits with guest speaker Chris Holder, a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The meeting will take place in the large board meeting room at Levittown Memorial Education Center at 7:30 PM and is free and open to the public.

Members of the Council’s Board of Directors will also discuss their involvement with the Levittown and Island Trees school districts Adopt A Family program and how the community can become involved.

The Levittown Community Council brings together organizations and residents in the Levittown and Island Tress areas to maintain pride and unity in the community.
