Division HS Baseball Camp Begins, Students Head Back to School

A look at some upcoming events this week.

Check out some events taking place in town this week and if you see we've missed something, add it to the boards.

- Students in both the Levittown and the Island Trees School District return to school Monday following Holiday Recess.

-  At 9:30 a.m. Monday, there will be a PTA President/Superintendent Meeting at Levittown Memorial. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a Division Avenue HS PTSA meeting, and at 7:30 p.m., there will also be a Salk/MacArthur PTSA meeting at Salk, according to the District calendar.

- Reminder: Division Avenue High School’s Winter baseball camp started on Sunday, Jan. 5 and also runs on  Jan. 12, 19 and Feb. 2. More details can be found here.

- The Levittown Library hosts a number of fun and free events this week. They include the ongoing 2014 Teen Video Challenge, which has a deadline entry date of Feb. 19, 2014. “Create a 30-to-90 second video promoting Summer Reading at the library this summer and you could win $275.” More details can be found at the library website.

- The Levittown Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 8 p.m. in meeting rooms 1 and 2.
