The Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a nonprofit medical service and one of four ambulance corps in Nassau County operated by community volunteers. Founded in 1956 by Homer K. Moore, the Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps offers emergency care and staffs more than 75 CPR and paramedic level volunteers, advanced life support providers and 911 responders.
