So, have they abandoned the fight to urge National Grid to bring natural gas to our area? We haveRead More one ductless unit in our house, and while it is nice for cooling, it is not as efficient as the companies would have you believe for heating. Installation aside, it runs your electric bills through the roof. And again, this is just with ONE unit.

People panicked... but I don't know of too many hoarding gas. It was rationed pretty carefully. ItRead More ment waiting on lines in the cold for hours just to get a few more gallons...just to store away in case? And I believe the people had every right to panic. Cold houses, no hot food, trying to use the gas in the car sparingly? It was a night mare of a time for many families.
