Levittown Home Sells for $600K, Highest Priced Sale of 2013

A two-story Levittown home with four beds and two and a half baths sold for $600,000 on July 12, making it the most expensive home sale in town this year.

The home on Skimmer Lane is a new construction with a full, unfinished basement.

The first floor features a living and dining room with a kitchen, while the second floor has four bedrooms, including the master suite which has a full bath and a jacuzzi, according to the MLSLI listing.

The home also features a number of energy efficient installations, including an energy star stove, double pane and insulated windows, energy star windows and storm doors, the listing says.

Levittown home prices are up 1.6 percent year-over-year as of July, with an average value of $308,200, according to Zillow. This is slightly higher than the Nassau County year-over-year increase of 1.3 percent.Nationwide, home prices are up 5.8 percent in the past year.
