Both the Levittown and the Island Trees School District announced on Monday afternoon that all schools will be closed on Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy.
The following message was posted on the Levittown School District website on Monday:
"Please be advised that the Levittown School District will be closed Tuesday, October 30th, 2012, due to inclement weather."
Schools in both districts were also closed on Monday. There is no word yet on the Island Trees Stokes Halloween Parade, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
